Sean’s Marathon quest week 3 and 4

WEEK THREE

I started his week a little less enthusiastically than the last. I started the week with a 5 1/2 mile run in a pretty reasonable time then a 3 1/2 mile run but then I had out of town company which kind of killed my late week training. On Sunday morning I was planning on a long run but when Tracy called me talking about the AIDS walk and 5k run I thought this might be fun. I’d never run a 5k and my training schedule suggests a few to see what your pace is.

WEEK FOUR

I’m going to take it a little easy this week and do a 5k again on Saturday with hopefully a long run Sunday. Tuesday I ran a pretty good pace for 30 minutes. Wednesday I tried to run a fast mile 7:15 not bad for me. That was the beginning of my workout so it kind of killed the rest, did some pull ups at the track and walked and ran for about 30 more minutes. I’m feeling a little sore so I might take the next two days off before running the take back the night 5k for dekalb rape crisis center.
